Short description
The great Uyuni Salt Flat, 3,676 meters above sea level, is located in southwestern Bolivia in the department of Potosí. Uyuni is the starting point for visiting important attractions on this beautiful circuit, which includes one of the largest salt seas in the world (10,582 km2). Crossing the salt flat is one of the most unusual and fantastic experiences one can have in this part of the continent, especially in June and July, when the brilliant blue sky contrasts with the whiteness of the salt crust. Sunrises and sunsets are quite a spectacle; during the rainy season, the salt flat transforms into a giant mirror, a photographer’s paradise.

Accommodation at the hotel.
