Short description
Discover the heart of Tarija through its history and culture, dating back to 1574, founded on the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Its mystical towns, such as San Lorenzo and Tomatitas, and imposing Republican mansions, give way to its gas potential. The best high-altitude wines are found in the Tarija valley, between 1,700 and 2,200 meters above sea level. Or, to speak of vineyards at 2,400 meters above sea level. Vineyards, grape harvesting, wine tasting, float parades, and grape stomping are all you need to know.
