TREKKING VENTILLA – BOMBORI 1 DAY

Short description

Only by walking can we get to know and admire the Andean region of northern Potosí, its ancestral legacy, its people rooted in their traditions that they never give up. Here, time seems to stand still. It is my deepest Bolivia. In addition, contact with nature in its unique landscapes is a wonder of the world. In a variable climate of the Puna Brava (7ºC), in these unusual places, the “Phuyarimondi” stands out as a guardian of these heights. Steep hills and crystal-clear waters complete this fascinating tour. For the Catholic world, faith and religiosity are at the shrine of Tata Bombori.

Program

We set out for the sacred lands of the north, leading us to the region of Cruce Macha, Juluchi. We embark on an extraordinary hike through the high plateau, enjoying the Andean camelids and the welcoming people, a moving glimpse of our mystical Bolivia. We rest at the foot of an exotic plant, the “Phuyarimondi,” that blooms only every 100 years. We arrive at the end of the day at the Bombori sanctuary.
